Hi, I’m Ash! I’m a book publicist and project manager based out of Portland, Oregon. A lifelong literature lover, I earned my bachelors degree in English & Textual Studies with a concentration in Creative Writing from Syracuse University, followed very quickly by my masters degree in Book Publishing from Portland State University.

During my time as a Project Manager for Ooligan Press, I worked with Cindy Brown and her mystery/thriller novel Echoes of the Lost from acquisition through publication. I wrote marketing copy, learned the ins and outs of author relations, designed press kits and tipsheets, planned a launch event—and fell in love with a brand new genre.

Before setting my sights on book publishing, I worked in nonprofit and higher education communications, tourism public relations, and a number of local coffee shops. Now, I’m looking forward to a long and happy career in book publicity.
